Sanctuary is a growing home organizing company that helps people create spaces that feel beautiful, functional, and inspiring. We offer editing and organizing services, as well as moving support.

This is an on-call, as-needed position with projects scheduled Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. There is no minimum weekly availability—I'll reach out as projects arise, and you can accept the days that work for your schedule.

    • Support on-site projects: decluttering, organizing, and styling spaces

    • Assist with unpacking, and setting up new spaces

    • Follow instructions carefully and provide reliable support on projects

    • Assist with light furniture assembly & occasional heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs)

    • Complete product pickups and returns as needed

    • Handle donation, recycling, and trash drop-offs

    • Learn and apply Sanctuary’s organizing methods and professional touches to deliver a polished client experience

    • Receive on-the-job training in Sanctuary’s organizing process

    • Dedicate time outside of projects to build your knowledge of:

      • Different organizing methodologies

      • Recognizing and supporting clients with chronic disorganization and ADHD

      • Other niches within the organizing field

    • Bring curiosity, fresh ideas, and a growth mindset to elevate your skills as Sanctuary grows and potentially take on projects independently

    • A natural ability to organize and a genuine interest in interior design is a plus

    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills—warm, professional, and people-focused

    • Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed

    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (bonus if you’re comfortable lifting more)

    • Comfort with light furniture assembly and hands-on project support

    • A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel to client appointments in Madison and surrounding areas

    • Bonus Experience: Prior work in professional organizing, interior design, customer service or related fields
