Our Team

Tiffany Barron

Founder

Tiffany is the founder of Sanctuary, a home organizing business based in Madison, Wisconsin.

She grew up in rural Wisconsin and eventually made her way to New York City, where she pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Between classes (and many late nights), she worked in visual merchandising — designing in-store and window displays for brands like Bloomingdale’s and Club Monaco, and later joining Kate Spade corporate to help open new retail locations across the country.

After seven fast-paced years in NYC, Tiffany felt the pull toward a slower life, more space, and a deeper sense of home. She returned to the Midwest and began working at Lands’ End in the Home division, designing products like decorative pillows and blankets — combining creativity with an in-depth understanding of how people live in and use their spaces.

Then life shifted.

A breast cancer diagnosis changed her perspective and made one thing clear: she wanted more balance, more flexibility, and work that felt deeply meaningful. That turning point became the beginning of Sanctuary — a business rooted in the belief that our homes are not just places to store things, but spaces that can truly support our health, energy, and well-being.

Today, Tiffany helps clients declutter, edit, and create organizing systems that feel intuitive, functional, and inspiring. Her approach blends visual design expertise, deep product knowledge, and a passion for sustainability — offering thoughtful guidance for those who want healthier, more eco-conscious choices in both home and personal care.

At Sanctuary, the goal is simple: to create spaces that feel lighter, easier to maintain, and restorative — a true sanctuary for real life.

Fun facts: Tiffany can’t start her day without coffee, will always say yes to Italian food, and considers hiking, yoga, and a good sauna essential forms of self-care. She loves disappearing into a great sci-fi or fantasy book, and firmly believes a Wisconsin supper club is a cultural treasure. Her happiest moments are spent with her husband Matt, their 5-year-old son Connor, and their yellow lab puppy, Cedar.

Assistant Organizer

Jess Neumann

Jess is an Assistant Organizer at Sanctuary and an independent product and interior stylist based in Madison, Wisconsin, known for blending sustainability, creativity, and thoughtful functionality into every space she touches. A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art–Chicago, her education sparked a lifelong curiosity for design viewed through a global, human-centered lens. Having lived in Ireland, Holland, and New Zealand, Jess draws inspiration from diverse cultural approaches to living, creating spaces that feel intentional, refined, and deeply livable.

Jess is especially drawn to organizing work because it sits at the intersection of design and real life. She loves the challenge of problem-solving within existing spaces — editing, simplifying, and creating systems that bring clarity, ease, and balance to a home. Her background includes retail merchandising and product styling for brands such as Shopbop/Amazon and The Kohler Company, where she refined her skills in visual storytelling and functional aesthetics. At Sanctuary, Jess brings a thoughtful eye, calm presence, and a deep respect for sustainability and intentional living. Fun fact: When Jess is not organizing she loves spending time up north, and finding unique supper clubs and hotels around the midwest (a shared love).
